Stop Climate Chaos Scotland has today written to the First Minister, Alex Salmond MSP, to highlight concerns about Scotland’s action on climate change.
This follows the publication of data earlier this week that shows that the first legally-binding emissions reduction target set under the Scottish Climate Change Act has not been met. Indeed, the latest data shows that Scotland’s emissions increased rather than decreased.
SCCS is urging the Scottish Government to increase efforts to reduce Scotland’s emissions.
