In 2015, we joined with our sister coalition in England, The Climate Coalition, for a huge mass lobby of MPs at Westminster. On 17th June, over 9,000 people from across the UK descended on Westminster to ensure our new Government and all MPs hear loud and clear that we are speaking up on climate change.
We arranged for a group of concerned people from across Scotland to make the journey to London to take part in this event and speak with their MPs about the need for more climate action. 46 of 59 Scottish MPs were lobbied during the event. Well done to everyone who took part!
It was an amazing day: fun inspiring and impactful. Including ecumenical services, art installations, a mass rally and of course the all important lobby.
