Join an evening from De Smog UK to discuss the prospects for a just transition – how a focus on a green new deal, workers rights and social justice can be core the the transition to a zero carbon economy.
De Smog UK will launch a magazine featuring essays by Christopher Silver which explore these issues through the lens of four different communities, display an exhibition and film on just transition by photographer Alan McCredie and host a panel to discuss these ideas.
The panel discussion will be chaired by Christopher Silver with:
- Matthew Crighton, Climate Jobs Campaigner, Friends of the Earth Scotland
- Maggie Chapman, Scottish Green Party
- Dave Moxham, STUC
- Pete Cannell, one of the founders of Scot.E3: Employment, Energy and Environment.
